Pre Construction

Design Development

The initial project phase involves close collaboration between the construction management team, design team, and client. This collaborative process begins with an on-site assessment to establish project goals and parameters. Subsequently, the construction management team develops a preliminary scope of work while the design team refines the project concept.

Cost Estimating

Once the design is finalized, a detailed cost estimate is developed through collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers. This estimate encompasses material and labor costs and is transparently shared with the client.

Project Scheduling

A comprehensive preliminary schedule is developed to outline project milestones and timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals and expectations.

Job Site Logistics

Effective project execution requires careful planning of job site logistics. Collaborative discussions between the construction team and client are essential to establish efficient site operations and minimize disruptions.

Construction Phase

After pre-construction is complete, we transition into the construction phase. We work to orchestrate all the construction activities with our trusted trade partners to ensure quality, schedule, and budget.

Communication

Communication is the driving factor for success on a construction project. We provide you with:

  • Daily summary of the work done on the project

  • Bi-weekly schedule updates

  • Weekly three-week look-ahead

  • Weekly project walkthrough meeting

Every project starts with a kick off meeting. At this kick off meeting we will discuss what you can expect to take place during the project.

Safety

Safety is a key part of our construction project. CZ Construction Management implements strict safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment. We follow and enforce all OSHA standards. Every CZ Project has these items on site to help enforce our safety standards:

  • Job Site Sign

  • Safety Signage

  • Site Specific Safety Plan

  • Water Shut Off Plan

  • Safety Orientation 

  • First Aid Kit

Construction Schedule

CZ Construction Management utilizes Microsoft Project to create a preliminary schedule that is accurate to how the work is orchestrated. The schedule is useful to express key milestone dates that are to be followed and to keep everyone on the same page. You will be updated with a three week look ahead weekly and a preliminary schedule bi-weekly. 

Post Construction

After CZ Construction has completed your project we will provide you with a close out book. Inside the close out book is:

  • Material Submittals

  • Owner Manuals 

  • Signed Building Permits & Close Out Documents
